Every diamond in our collection is lab-grown. Here's what that means, and why we choose them.
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is made of the same crystallized carbon as a mined diamond. It has the same hardness, the same sparkle and the same chemical and optical properties. Even a trained gemologist can't tell them apart by eye; it takes specialized equipment to identify a diamond's origin.
How are lab-grown diamonds made?
Lab-grown diamonds are created using advanced technology that recreates the conditions in which diamonds form naturally deep within the earth. Starting from a tiny diamond seed, carbon builds up layer by layer and crystallizes into a diamond over several weeks. The result is then cut and polished exactly like a mined diamond.

Caring for your lab-grown diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are just as hard as mined diamonds: extremely scratch-resistant, and they won't fade. To keep them sparkling, clean them gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush. See our jewelry care guide.
